Creating Bold Climate Action
ReArctic is a global activation campaign aimed at creating a culture of bold climate action, with a special focus on the Arctic and the world’s glaciers. 2025 is the UN’s International Year for Glacier Preservation, and glaciers now have their own international day, March 25th. Isn’t this the perfect time for a project, and Norway the place with purpose!
ReArctic’s mission is to bring the Arctic to the forefront of the international dialogue on climate action. We want to connect, unite, and engage local governments, businesses, and civil societies worldwide in taking bold actions to reduce our collective impact on climate change and the Arctic.
Engaging and visual communication of research and solutions for the future
ReArctic visualizes research to enlighten and communicate the life and changes occurring in the Arctic and the cryosphere. It highlights why preserving these regions is critically important for life on Earth as we know it, influencing all the tipping points in the climate system. Additionally, we aim to visualize solutions and actions that can safeguard the Arctic, demonstrating how these efforts can lead to a better life for everyone.
Oslo Opera House in Norway is the perfect venue for the projectionshow!
The Oslo Opera House is not only visually stunning; it also symbolizes something deeper. Norway has a special responsibility for the Arctic, shared with just a few other countries. A campaign to engage the Norwegian people in protecting the Arctic aligns meaningfully with the country’s offensive oil and gas activities. Every country has natural resources that are exploited and impact the climate. If Norway takes the lead, it could influence its global standing and set an example for other nations.
ReArctic is A Call for Change

These actions often involve risks or resistance but carry the potential for significant and necessary change.
